On 12 September 2009, the Author donated copies of all four books to the Queenscourt Hospice in Southport, England and attended a book signing at Aphrohead bookshop. All the money raised from the sale of the donated books was forwarded to the Hospice.
The Europa Gymnasium in Klagenfurt, Austria, has purchased twenty five copies of each of "Against All Odds" and "Telegraph Island". The books are being used by students preparing for university entrance and the Author has been invited to read extracts from both books to the students in November 2009.
